There’s something beautiful about infusing a staged home with plants and flowers but with nobody around to live with and tend to these objects, a stager is left to use faux options. There are some great fakes out there that look great and photograph well but manufacturing isn’t great for the environment. This year, though, with all things being shifted, we have decided to do our best to source organic options that will photograph brilliantly and continue looking beautiful long after the photos have been uploaded. Our last few projects have eschewed the faux for simple, architectural options like dried lotus pods, dried globethistle, curly willow, eucalyptus, grasses, assorted dried flowers and pods and recycled strands of glass beads to add texture and beauty to the interior. We will continue to search the globe and our local flea markets for more ideas.
